Aside from the camaraderie and fellowship of like-minded Portuguese Water Dog enthusiasts, listed below are some of the tangible benefits of being a PWDCA member.
All members receive a subscription to the Award-Winning Magazine, The Courier.
The PWDCA offers many different award categories for our members. They are:

Associate members receive a PWDCA window decal for their vehicle upon joining. When members become Voting members, they receive a PWDCA club lapel pin.
The "List" refers to an email list (email distribution list or email group list) to which you can subscribe. You then become part of an ongoing, interactive PWD society in which you can participate with your own opinions, questions or simply read what others are discussing. Only current, active members in good standing with the PWDCA may subscribe to the PWDCA-L List.

- Leave the subject line blank
- The first line of your message should read: SUBSCRIBE PWDCA-L Your Name (Replace "Your Name" with your actual name)
- You will be added to the mail list after the List administrator verifies your eligibility and you will receive information for further confirmation activity
