Introduction to "The Courier" Index for Health Articles

This index was derived from work by Shelly Jakubowski, Courier Article Index Coordinator. It is provided in both PDF format sorted by Subject column and in Excel format. This index of articles includes just health and behavior/temperament articles.

In Excel format, the column headers can be used to sort into any order desired. If you are looking for a specific topic (e.g., cancer, hemangiosarcoma) you can use the Subject column to accomplish that sort. The author sort won't work real well because it includes first and last name(s).

Given that the time frame included in the index covers several important health issues (PRA and cardiomyopathy), the reader is cautioned to remember that the most recent information will be the most up-to-date. Even so, the time sequence of these articles is a useful historical trace.

The index is intended for use by the PWDCA membership who receive "The Courier" as a membership privilege. Thus non-members and recent members would need to locate a member with the issue in question in order to access an article.

Disclaimer: It is conceivable that some article title was missed and if you provide the citation to me (beaconbb@bellsouth.net), the index can be easily updated. It should be understood that reading these articles is not a substitute for veterinary care if your PWD has a problem discussed in an article.
