Rally:  Following the signs; Demonstrating good training.

A relative newcomer to the ranks of the American Kennel Club's performance competitions, rally is an exciting canine sport in which dog and handler get to have some fun with basic and advanced obedience exercises. In rally, dogs and their handlers complete a course designed by a rally judge that consists of 10-20 stations. Each station is marked with a sign that tells the handler which skill the dog is to perform before advancing to the next station. Handlers are encouraged to support their dog's effort verbally - so spectators at Rally trials are treated to the sounds of handlers' praise, encouragement, even clapping hands. PWDs excel in these competitions, loving the challenge of the exercises and the joy of working closely with their handlers.
